1. PURPOSE
The Community Code of Conduct (“Code”) governs participation in all community spaces operated by The Doggo Club Ltd, including but not limited to:
- Member newsfeeds
- Comment sections
- Webinar chat functions
- Discussion threads
- Direct messaging features (if applicable)
This Code exists to ensure a safe, professional, respectful, and constructive environment for all members.
“Participation in the community constitutes acceptance of this Code.”
2. MEMBER RESPONSIBILITIES
By participating in the community, you agree to:
- Engage respectfully with other members
- Contribute constructively to discussions
- Share experiences responsibly
- Refrain from offering advice beyond your competence
- Accept that moderation decisions are final
You remain legally responsible for any content you post.
3. PROHIBITED CONDUCT
The following behaviours are strictly prohibited:
3.1 Harassment & Abuse
- Bullying, intimidation, or threats
- Personal attacks
- Hate speech or discriminatory remarks
- Offensive or inflammatory language
3.2 Dangerous or Misleading Advice
Members must not:
- Provide veterinary advice
- Encourage unsafe training methods
- Suggest medical treatment without qualification
- Promote harmful behavioural practices
The Company reserves the right to remove any advice deemed unsafe.
3.3 Spam & Self-Promotion
Members must not:
- Promote external services or businesses
- Share affiliate links
- Post unsolicited advertising
- Conduct sales activity within the Platform
3.4 Intellectual Property Violations
Members must not:
- Copy, download, or redistribute Platform content
- Record webinars
- Screenshot paid materials for sharing
- Share login credentials
3.5 Illegal or Unlawful Content
Prohibited content includes:
- Defamatory statements
- Copyright infringement
- Fraudulent activity
- Any content breaching UK law
4. CONTENT OWNERSHIP & LICENCE
By posting content within the community, you grant The Doggo Club Ltd a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to:
- Display
- Reproduce
- Moderate
- Remove
- Use content for operational purposes
You confirm you have the right to share any content posted.
5. MODERATION RIGHTS
The Company reserves absolute discretion to:
- Edit or remove content
- Restrict participation
- Suspend accounts
- Permanently terminate membership
No refund will be provided where termination results from breach of this Code.
Moderation decisions are final.
6. REPORTING CONCERNS
Members may report concerns to: woof@thedoggoclub.co.uk
All reports will be reviewed reasonably and in good faith.
7. NO RELIANCE ON MEMBER CONTENT
The Company is not responsible for:
- Advice shared by members
- Statements made within discussions
- Member-to-member disputes
Members rely on peer contributions at their own risk.
8. LIABILITY DISCLAIMER
To the fullest extent permitted by law:
The Doggo Club Ltd accepts no liability for:
- Harm caused by member advice
- Disputes between members
- Decisions made based on community discussions
Members remain individually responsible for their actions.
9. ENFORCEMENT
Breaches of this Code may result in:
- Warning
- Temporary suspension
- Immediate termination
- Legal action where appropriate
Repeated or serious breaches will result in permanent removal.
